Learning Resource Centre ‘a 21st-century learning space in a century-old College’
Nestled between the chapel of St. Mary the Less and the Cranmer Hall tutorial offices is the newly completed purpose-built Learning Resource Centre. The centre consists of two floors of library space, the Sir William Leech Library, holding around 27,000 books including a unique collection of specialist theological books and journals. About 1,000 books on a wide range of subjects are added to the library’s stock each year. Additionally there are 86 flexible study spaces a reading room with reference books, and a bookable group study space. Occupying the ground floor is a state of the art lecture theatre and a seminar room. Both of the teaching spaces are fitted with lecture capture technology increasing accessibility for all learners.
Library Specialism in Theology
Our particular strength is in theology, since the college includes its own taught BA and MA programmes in Theology, Ministry and Mission at Cranmer Hall. Some 75% of the library books are in the subject and we subscribe to a number of specialist journals in theology and ministry.
Please visit the College Library website for information about using library services.
