Bishop Libby Lane to be new Bishop of Derby

Philip Plyming, Warden of Cranmer Hall, writes:

We are delighted to hear of the appointment of Bishop Libby as Bishop of Derby. 

Bishop Libby has a longstanding relationship with Cranmer Hall and St John’s College, having trained here with her husband George in the 1990s, and more recently served on College Council and as Chair of Cranmer Committee.  She has been a great source of wisdom and support since my arrival here as Warden and I know that the Diocese of Derby, will be greatly blessed by her ministry.  We will be holding her and the Diocese in our prayers.
