Jonny Price

Jonny has been involved in Children’s and Youth Ministry for over 20 years. Over this time he has held various voluntary, paid, and consultative roles at parish, diocesan, and national levels. Before joining the team at Cranmer Hall he held a post as part of the national Church Army team for six years.

Jonny is deeply passionate about the impact that youth and children’s ministry can have holistically on both children and young people, and on those who engage in ministry with them. He has seen his own life transformed in multiple ways as a result of being welcomed and supported into youth ministries, and through caring investment in his ministerial development by others.

He is particularly interested in equitable access to education, and creative approaches to training for lay ministry. He is trustee for Rural Missions, and the Bus Stop Youth Ministry, both focused on supporting mission and ministry in rural contexts.

Jonny holds a BA (Hons) in Mission and Ministry with a specialism in Youth Ministry, and an MA in Mission, both from Manchester University. He is currently engaged in doctoral study exploring transcendent and mystical experiences in a postmodern context.
