Supported by the Church of England’s RMF Innovation Fund, Cranmer Hall is seeking to appoint a person with substantial ministry experience and excellent organizational skills as Director of Interim Ministry Training. This new role will establish and lead a national centre of excellence for the networking, training, resourcing, and support of Interim Ministers (also known Interim Change Ministers or Transition(al) Ministers). The role encompasses several strands: the establishment and development of a network of Interim Ministers, including its formalization as a ‘College of Interim Ministry Practitioners’; the creation and delivery of an Interim Ministry course for new and existing Interim Ministers, both in-person and online, with a target for training at least 60 practitioners over 3 years; and the provision and renewal of resources via a website and national communication and sharing of best practice.
The postholder will be employed by St John’s College, Durham to work within Cranmer Hall and will liaise closely with a designated staff member at Rippon College Cuddesdon.
