Cranmer Hall is delighted to hear of the appointment of the Rt Revd Dr Steven Croft as the new Bishop of Oxford, following the retirement of the Rt Revd John Pritchard, also a former Warden of Cranmer Hall.
Bishop Steven was Warden of Cranmer Hall from 1996-2004, and has served as Bishop of Sheffield since 2009. He is a highly respected author and an influential member of the House of Bishops. He chairs the Ministry Council for the Church of England.
He and Ann will be in our prayers as they take on this new challenge, as will the Diocese of Sheffield where Bishop Steven’s ministry has been greatly valued over the last seven years.
