Murray oversees all things operational at Cranmer Hall, supporting its tutors and students and helping life behind the scenes run smoothly.
He studied engineering at Newcastle University and spent more than a decade working in the engineering heartlands of the North East. Throughout this time, he remained actively involved in his local church, alongside late-night jazz jams, fell running, squash and an enjoyment of all things Brontë.
After completing a Graduate Diploma with Union School of Theology, God opened the door for Murray to move into full-time Christian ministry, bringing his engineering background and love of practical problem-solving into a theological context.
He is married to Lydia, and together they share a passion for creativity and writing music—including music for their own wedding.
