Study the PG Diploma

The PG Diploma is a stand-alone qualification or can be ‘topped up’ with the dissertation in a subsequent year, leading to the MA. It is created for those who want a deeper exploration into different theological and ministry subjects than the Certificate offers but might have other limitations that make the MA impractical. It is ideal for those in any kind of mission or ministry who want to theologically reflect or upskill in specific areas of study and practice, whether for personal or professional development.

Entry requirements

For entry requirements, structure and modules offered, see the MA page.

Even if you’re not sure you meet the entry requirements, do get in touch for a conversation!

Accessibility

We want to support you if you’re already in ministry or considering it, whether you have a background in theology or whether you would like to discover what theological study is like. There are several ways we make the programme as accessible as possible!

  • Full-time or part-time study, from 12 months through 3 years
  • In-person or online access: our teaching and learning is ‘live’, which students can access in-person in our state-of-the-art teaching spaces in the World Heritage Site, or online for those studying at a distance.
  • Weekly and block teaching: some modules are offered on a weekly basis across 16 weeks and others are delivered in two blocks of 2.5 days intensive study.
  • Standalone modulesare available for those who want to see what theological study is like without committing to a programme.
