Revd Dr Susanne Carlsson

Teaches Spiritual Direction

Susanne, originally from Sweden, is the Spiritual Adviser for Rochester Diocese. She has been involved in spirituality and specifically Ignatian spirituality for the last 20 years. Susanne regularly gives retreats including the Spiritual Exercise of Ignatius of Loyola, training course in spirituality and spiritual direction in Rochester Diocese and Scandinavia.

Susanne recently completed a Doctorate in Practical Theology researching ‘What is distinctive about Ignatian religious life and how can it be lived in the Anglican Church’.
