Named, Known and Called womens’ vocation Day Conference – 28 October 2017

‘Named, Known and Called’ is a day conference taking place on Saturday, 28^th October at St John’s College, Durham, as a partnership between Cranmer Hall and the Awesome network. It will include talks, seminars and worship, and provide a relaxed environment in which attendees can engage with others at various stages in the vocations process.

The speakers include the Revd Lis Goddard (Chair of Awesome and Vicar of St James the Less, Pimlico), Revd Dr Kate Bruce (Cranmer Hall) and Revd Dr Philip Plyming (Warden of Cranmer Hall) amongst others. The plenary sessions will address the theology of gender and leadership, as well as exploring the topic of calling. Seminars will cover a range of relevant themes, including family life and singleness in the context of ministry, and other practical topics.

The day will run between 10am and 3.30pm. Lunch will be provided, and the day is free of charge, but registration is essential as spaces are limited. The sign-up form can be found at namedknowncalled.org.uk.
