What comes to mind with the word “Theology?” Boring? Academic? Dry?
Maybe so. But “theology” is about God—the dynamic, surprising, and thrilling Creator who became flesh but will not sit still in a university library or in an academic classroom. “Theology” is rigorous thinking about the God of Christian faith who reveals himself not just to theologians, but to everyone who would seek him out.
Theology is for everyone.
We invite you to join a new venture sponsored by churches in Stockton and Teesside and in partnership with Cranmer Hall, St John’s College at Durham University. Theology for Everyone is a series of lively presentations with interactive discussions about the exciting God who is revealed to us in Scripture. It is time for theology to explode out of the libraries and classrooms and spill out onto our city streets. Join us as we meet afresh God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit and seek to follow him in his mission to our region.
