Theology for Everyone: Sat 15 Sept with Ian Paul ‘I saw heaven open: a theology for the last days’ Book Now!

I Saw Heaven Open: A Theology of the Last Days with Ian Paul

Saturday 15 September, 9am-1pm, at Stockton Baptist Church, The Square, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 1TE.

What are the “last days”? And when are they? The Book of Revelation is like marmite – people are either disturbingly overenthusiastic about it, or avoid it through fear or confusion! This session is ideal for any and every Christian, as Ian helps us to think both deeply and practically about how to read this book and live with the amazing Jesus it points us to.

Ian Paul was involved in ministry in Poole, Dorset for a decade, before teaching New Testament and Practical Theology at St John’s College, Nottingham. He is currently a freelance writer, theologian, and public speaker, and stays in touch with ministry as associate minister of St Nic’s Church Nottingham, and with academia as Adjunct Professor at Fuller Seminary in California. His blog (psephizo.com) has won numerous awards, most recently for Blogger of the Year in the Premier Digital Awards 2017. He is, by his own confession, a Mac user and a chocoholic.

Theology for Everyone aims to help ordinary Christians think biblically and relevantly about important and awesome topics to do with God and his world. It really is for everyone: you don’t need to have studied theology (or anything else!), or to have come last year, or to come to every session this year (though we’d love it if you did!).
